I first met David Young at a Kane County Board meeting nearly three years ago while attending as a concerned citizen in the gallery. As a resident of Sugar Grove, I was encouraged to see a Republican County Board member willing to speak up for the citizens of Kane County.
David is passionate about his conservative values and what many would call a true “common sense” approach to government. He consistently advocates for responsible governance, fiscal responsibility, and accountability in how taxpayer dollars are spent. David is not afraid to ask tough questions about county spending and believes Kane County should provide high-quality services while remaining good stewards of the public’s money.
David Young understands that government must work for the people — with transparency, sound financial oversight, and a commitment to protecting taxpayers. I strongly support David Young for Kane County Board District 15. He represents the interests of all Kane County residents well, whether you live in his district or not.

Chris Lauzen, Kane County Treasurer
David Young has stayed loyal to his constituents' interests, works hard, and employs good old-fashioned common sense in discharging his elected duties.
He understands that he works for his neighbors and that the money they earn belongs to them and not the government.

Penney Plumb, Chairman of Campton Township Republican Party
Mike McMahon, Plato Township Supervisor

Under the Illinois Constitution, Kane County is recognized as a county operating under township government, which makes strong representation from Plato Township extremely important to our residents.
I am proud to endorse David Young for re-election. David has consistently demonstrated common sense, logic, courage, fortitude, and loyalty at times when those qualities have not always been easy to find in government.
As a resident of Plato Township himself, David has remained deeply loyal and committed to the people he represents. Anytime I have reached out to discuss matters affecting Plato Township, we have always been able to communicate openly and see eye to eye on the importance of serving our community first.
David has never served in this position for self-serving reasons. He has always been transparent, thoughtful, and well-spoken in presenting his ideas and positions. While some people may disagree with him politically, I have seen David stand firm in his beliefs and values rather than bend under pressure or retaliation. That is something I greatly admire.
When I speak of David “holding his ground,” I mean standing firm for the principles and values that the citizens of Plato Township elected him to represent in the first place.
David Young has earned my respect and my support, and I fully endorse him for re-election.
Mike McMahon
Plato Township Supervisor
